Today, I am sharing an old poem with you. It is very simple in how it is written, yet it carries a lot of meaning about life, direction and how things seem to unfold over time.

I found myself sitting with it longer than I expected. Not because it was complicated or hard to follow, rather because it speaks in a calm way about moving forward, even when things feel a bit wobbly or like you've misplaced your instructions.

It reminds you that things are still moving, still developing, even if you cannot see the full picture yet.

There is a part that speaks about things falling into chaos and still being reshaped into something new again. That doesn'o't happen straight away and it doesn't happen easily, yet it keeps moving in that direction over time.

Another part gently turns your attention back to your own life and the direction you are taking. It suggests that the path you are on is not random, even when it feels that way at times. There is something deeper at play, even if it is not always obvious in the moment.

It's less about telling you what to do and more about quietly asking, “How is your path actually unfolding so far?”

Sometimes personal growth does not come from doing something big or making a major change. Often it comes from small moments like this, where something you read or hear just lands a little differently and stays with you.

Look and listen when you get a moment

A poem like this can bring you back to yourself and to a quieter understanding that things are always unfolding, even when you can't yet see exactly where they're going.
